Acclaimed Taiwanese illustrator & character artist Poyunwang is best known for his signature cheeky and rebellious touch turning “untouchable” subjects into unapologetic characters caught with mundane ‘unglam’ behaviour including nose-picking or eye-rolling. Far from just depicting just deities and mythology, his creative universe spans across parodies from various IP worlds with playful vinyl figures, offbeat character worlds, and the calming floral paintings he creates to unwind. For poyunwang, “Why not?” is more than a question—it’s the rule.
